Currently Playing: Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning Demo

This is we get when we combine the talents of R.A. Salvatore (writer of such books for the Forgotten Realms, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter), Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn) and Ken Rolston (lead designer of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and IV: Oblivion). The game is currently developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. It should be released sometime by the second week of February this year.

Trailer: Resident Evil 6 Reveal

It’s been 3 years since Resident Evil 5 came out. Heck, even Resident Evil Revelations will just be out in a few days. Obviously Capcom hasn’t been resting on it’s popular franchise. Leon and Chris are together this time. Based on the trailer, it seems more action packed since it seems like the lead character can run this time around. Also, zombies are back too. Check it out. Enjoy.

Currently Playing: Call of Duty Black Ops

I’ve played a lot of Call of Duty games, and I’m curious with how Treyarch will handle the series after Infinity Ward lost most of the staff. Treyarch always fell a tad behind the popular game developer. Infinity Ward always worked on the original series and started the Modern Warfare series, while Treyarch did the ones inbetween to fill in the gaps inbetween developments of the games. This gave Activision the opportunity to release a game for almost every year because they had 2 developers working on a single franchise. Black Ops is the first game that Treyarch removed itself from the World War 2 scenario.

Currently Playing: Asura’s Wrath Demo

Asura’s Wrath is like playing God of War, but it seems that it’s more Japanese in mythology (not sure yet, haven’t done my research about the game). The game enters you into two missions(5 and 11 from what I remember), which puts you in the middle of a battle. This should give you an idea how to play it. Not like most games where it gives you a long tutorial to understand how it all goes.

No to SOPA & PIPA

I really don’t know what the US government is thinking about SOPA. This is what they call the “Stop Online Piracy Act”. I have no problems for controlling piracy, it’s good, I encourage it. But the problem with SOPA as it is right now is wrong. Because even a few things or even minute things can affect so many people. Read the full post »

Abobo’s Big Adventure

Does anyone remember Abobo? He’s one of the big enemies in the old game called Double Dragon. Here, you play as him where you try to save his son named Aboboy. You will fight off enemies from different games from the NES days. Don’t think that this is just an easy game, I tried it. You need some old school skills to get through it. You can try it out yourself.

Watch it: The Hobbit (1977)

As we wait for the movie “The Hobbit” made by Peter Jackson, we can watch this classic animated movie which I remember from my younger years. The video is the entire movie. I’m surprised that YouTube allowed this large video to be online.

PSVita and it’s many colors

This is something interesting for people who plans to buy a PSVita. If you can wait a little longer, the PSVita should come out on several colors, not like the previous versions where the colors are far few inbetween.
