Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

November 26, 2009

2 years ago I was able to play Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. I wondered how a new character in a modern timeline will fit into Indiana Jones’ or Lara Croft’s shoes. It turned out a better experience that I’ve thought, a lot of action and good treasure hunting with a little unnatural elements. It’s a real adventure I’ve missed with Indy or Lara. Nathan Drake is now the leading treasure hunter, and I was excited to see what will happen next. Read the rest of this entry ?

Playstation Home Beta Invite! Why just now?

November 27, 2008

ps3-home

I had my fill of playing the PS3 for a while, since I just borrowed one before. Today, I just received an invitation to join Home Beta, now that I don’t have a PS3. I don’t know if a lot of people have received this, but if not, this is an opportunity that I will miss sadly. I know Home is just like a social MMO with tons of advertising, but I’m a video gamer, I like those small little things that make a console unique. I enjoyed playing around with the NXE (New Xbox Experience), but having this rare chance to play the beta version of Sony’s new interface is something I’m also wanting to try since it was announced the first time, especially it’s home and character customization.

Console Wars 2007

January 12, 2008

So 2007 has been interesting. So many things has happened, and it’s been a roller coaster ride. Let’s start of with the hand held consoles. The DS has been very stable, nothing new to say but there are tons and tons of games coming out and there is no stopping it. Is it beating out the PSP? Not really, for the past few months before the end of 2007, the PSP has been selling like crazy. From what I hear other countries are also having good sales with the PSP, but it seems like the games are not selling as much. So what’s with the PSP? It’s a multimedia power house. More adults will be more attracted with the movie features and MP3 capability, and now it even has Skype (Internet phone) to back it up. The PSP is selling because of it’s other features, it seems like gaming is just a bonus.

Virtua Fighter 5 Review

April 4, 2007

Virtua Fighter 5

The Virtua Fighter series has stood out on its own and started the 3D fighting era. It is the game that started it all. The previous game did give so much that it was really hard to top. Will this new game beat its own previous title?
