WiiU release in Japan on December 8

Nintendo Japan has just announced that they will be releasing the WiiU on December 8, 2012. Here are some details about the release:

Premium Set priced at ¥31,500 (estimated PhP20,7637.60): 32gb flash memory, black model, includes a black gamepad, AC adapter, HDMI cable, gamepad dock, console stand, 2 year Nintendo network premium subscription

Basic Set priced at ¥26,250 (estimated PhP17,3142.11): 8gb flash memory, white model, white model, includes a white gamepad, AC adapter, HDMI cable

WiiU priced at ¥13,440 (estimated PhP7,226.20).

Of course, since Nintendo is not officially supporting the Philippines, we can expect higher prices when it comes to our own country. Also, the online premium service is questionable, since I’m not really sure they will actually allow access from our country.

Prices and bundles might be even different in other countries like the US or Europe.
